The accounts branch deals with all the financial issues of the university. In order to deal with the finance related issues of the students, the accounts branch has set up an accounts help desk to facilitate the students with their respective accounts related issues. A brief set of tasks performed by the accounts branch are:

• Issuance of challan forms to the existing students via CU online module
• Issuance of miscellaneous challan forms to the students such as:
• Transport fee challan.
• Transcript fee challan.
• Duplicate ID card fee challan.
• Duplicate transcript fee challan.
• Repeat course fee challan.
• Migration certificate challan.
• Prospectus and NTS fee challan to Admission Office.
• Library fine challan.
• Discipline fine.
• Issuance of the following cheques to the students:
• Full dues refund cheques.
• Caution money cheques.
• Hostel security cheques.
• Financial assistance cheques.
• ICT cheques.
• Top 5% and position holders’ cheques.
• Kinship cheques.
• Record keeping of all the cheques issued to the students.
• Receiving applications from the students regarding semester fee installment, new admission fee installment, fine waiver applications etc.
• Issue clearance to the students after confirming that they have paid up all of the outstanding amounts.
• Provision of information to the students regarding various accounts issues.
• Answer Billing and Financial Aid questions
• Discrepancies on Bills and with Financial Aid
• Additional duties assigned by the Additional Treasurer.
