THE FSP PROGRAMME
The FSP-Programme is designed for non-German speaking persons interested in enrolling in an undergraduate degree programme (Bachelors) at a German university where the medium of instruction is German. The precondition for admission to the FSP-Programme is a higher secondary school certificate HSSC (FA, FSc or equivalent) from Pakistan. Course participants will be taught German to a standard which is sufficient for them to gain admission to a German university. In addition to the German language component of the FSP-programme, students will spend one year at a German University where, in addition to attending more compulsory German language classes, they will be required to undertake preparatory courses intended to bring them to a standard of education required for admission to a German undergraduate degree programme.
The FSP-Programme has a total duration of three academic semesters. The first semester will be held at the COMSATS Institute of Information Technology in Lahore, the second and third semesters ("one-year Studienkolleg") will be held at a campus in Germany selected by the COMSATS German partner IBK which comprises a network of German universities. The total numbers of hours at Lahore will be 450 and in Germany approximately 1000 (according to the German Studienkolleg rules and regulations).
