Master of Science in Project Management
Program Overview:
If you're an aspiring project manager, program manager or general manager, our M.S.P.M. program gives you the tangible, practical skills you need to help organizations operate smoothly and efficiently.
The MS in Project Management degree has been designed specifically as a conversion course for graduates seeking to focus their vocational interest in project management, and wishing to develop their career in this increasingly important field of management.
In addition to equipping you with key project management tools and techniques used by professional project managers, the programme is designed to build your familiarity with management theory, and with the language and practice of management. There is a strong business focus, and the programme's core modules provide a thorough grounding in strategic thinking, project definition, planning and control, applied project management, behavioral aspects and managing organizational change.
The programme will help you to understand the complexities of organizational change and develop your ability to manage and deliver change successfully through projects, particularly via effective engagement of stakeholders.
Eligibility Criteria:-
The admission into the graduate program are very competitive based on merit. The merit will be determined on the basis of the academic record, test and interview.
Admission Pre-Requisites
MS Admission
- A 16 years degree in the relevant field from an accredited educational institution with first division (annual system) or CGPA2.5/4.0 (semester system) with no third division or D grade throughout the academic career.
- NTS GAT(General) with 50% marks
Facilities for the Program:-
The department of Management Sciences prides itself in being able to offer the most advanced facilities to its students. Not only do we strive for the best educational atmosphere, but a constant and continuous effort is being made to enhance and upgrade our facilities, which include:

- Career Development Center – helps learners and students in planning, developing and executing right career paths for them. On campus job fairs are also conducted for the graduating students.
- Business Development Center – students benefit from the centers activities like event management, small business consultancy (for future entrepreneurs) and its human resource development.
- Management Alumni Association of COMSAT – provides opportunity for alumni to reconnect with their alma mater and to recognize the contribution of graduates towards industry.
- Center for Excellence in Research: supports high quality research within the department of Management Sciences through promoting a research culture among staff, students and industry linkages.
Faculty Profile:
Currently there are 71 full time faculty members and staff, teaching in different capacities, in the MS department. Out of these 9 have done their Ph. D. from well reputed foreign universities, 2 have done their Ph. D. from Pakistan. More than 20 faculty members hold a foreign MS degree while 8 have completed their MS from well recognized Pakistani Universities. In addition the department of MS has 5 adjunct faculty members from United Kingdom and United States of America.
