Overview:-
The department of Computer Science was established in 2002. The department made a modest beginning and is now proud of excellent facilities and internationally qualified faculty members.
We aim to impart competitive skills in effective development and application of modern technology. We see our students as excellent programmers, outstanding researchers, extra ordinary analysts and innovative designers.
We are aware of everyday breakthroughs in modern technology and thus committed to equipped our students with advanced competencies required to manage the growing needs of sciences and technolgy; espacially computer sciences, in almost every professional field today.
Research activities have been given high priority within the department. This has resulted in national and international recognition for our faculty and students alike. A number of research papers of national and international repute haven been published in various, leading journals and presented at conferences all over the world.
The department of Computer Science offers competitive degrees in rapidly expanding areas of study. Our qualified faculty and excellent facilities ensure that students have a solid technical grasp on their subject to apply this knowledge in practical work settings.
Our fruitful linkages with the Higher Education Commission and Ministry of Science and Technology help us keep up-to-date with new policy initiatives and market driven incentives being unrolled by the government and private sector.

BS (CS):-
In the contemporary environment of rapidly evolving global IT, the Department of Computer Science (CS) provides solid theoretical foundation by offering latest courses designed by leading experts.The department has achieved significant progress in the past eight years, and is now transforming itself by using research for indigenous innovation.
The department encourages researchers to track and further develop the theoretical & practical frontiers of computer science, adopt international research methods as well as localized cases, evolve useful conclusions and suggestions for solving practical problems, and publish their findings in local and international journals and conferences ( More)
BS (SE):-
Software Engineering discipline focuses on imparting the practical knowledge and technical training that enables students to harmonize theory with practice, concepts with applications, and problems with solutions. Software Engineering graduates will have grounding in communication, mathematics, sciences, cultural, ethical, and social issues that influence and affect to the development of high quality software systems. The Programme will prepare professionals having skills and mastery in software development principles, theory, practice, and process to develop high quality software applications. ( More)
MS/PhD(CS):-
The purpose of launching MS program leading to PhD is to provide an opportunity
to all those graduates who have good scholastic background in computer science or
related disciplines and want to enhance their knowledge further. The course is tailored
in a way that it encompasses state-of-art concepts in the realms of computer science.
The program is equally beneficial and affordable for the fresh students. The department
of Computer Science is offering MS for full time students. From 2007 MS for part
