Program at Glance:-
The Department of Chemical Engineering has successfully launched graduate program (Master of Science, MS ) in Fall 2011 to prepare students to tackle the issues related to process improvement and/or design in local and/or global chemical or process industry. The graduate program aims to create and disseminate quality knowledge in a research oriented atmosphere for personal and professional growth. The strong faculty and excellent facilities of the department have the potential to provide students with the technical and professional knowledge necessary to develop their abilities to seek creative solutions to complex problems in their field of interest. The program is designed to help prepare students for industry, teaching and research careers, and to meet the need for rigorous and advanced training in the applied aspects of modern technology.
The Department of Chemical Engineering offers a competitive degree in demanding and rapidly expanding areas of studies, which are; Oil & Gas Production and Processing, Environmental Technology, Polymer & Rubber Technology, Bio-Chemical Engineering, Textile Processing.
Admission Requirements:-
The admission into the graduate program are very competitive based on merit. The merit will be determined on the basis of the academic record, test and interview.
Admission Pre-Requisites
- A 16 years degree in the relevant field from an accredited educational institution with first division (annual system) or CGPA2.5/4.0 (semester system) with no third division or D grade throughout the academic career.
- NTS GAT(General) with 50% marks
