More CIIT Campuses will be established across the country. This was declared by Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, Prime minister of Pakistan on the 16th convocation of COMSATS Institute of Information Technology. Ms. Tahmina Daultana, Federal minister of Science and Technology also addressed at this occasion.

According to the declaration, following locations were nominated to establish new CIIT campuses:-

• Vehari (Punjab)
• Larkana (Sindh)
• Balochistan
